Day 3 (Tuesday) - EPCOT in VA Beach???

Today we woke up to some spectacular weather.  A perfect beach day!  A morning Starbucks coffee and stroll up the boardwalk started my morning while Jen went for a run.  This time I visited the Navy Seal monument and it was another impressive display.  Once we got back to the room, we went down to the beach and setup under our umbrella.

The waves were choppy today so no boogie boarding but Jake and I tried out our new dive masks.  They really worked great in the waves.  After a breif stay in the morning we headed up for a lunch on the balcony overlooking the beach.  It was perfect.  Once we finished we went back down and made an attempt to fly the kite.  The breeze kicked up a bit much so we pulled it in and will try again Wednesday.

Infinity Pool
We decided to try the infinity pool on the roof....not quite an amazing setup.  Too many kids in the hot tub for sure but still a spectacular view.

Jill got some reading on the beach in and we all relaxed.  As the shadows from the towers began to appear we were ready for dinner.

Tacos at Cactus Jack's
We got cleaned up and headed about two blocks to Cactus Jack's.  Jake asked about a chip in my tooth.  I thought he meant my chipped tooth but he meant the massive taco chip wedged in the front of my tooth! LOL   They served up some great "guac" and salsa while we sat outside.

Once we were done we walked back and  Jill got her Henna Tattoo on her ankle.  She was looking forward to this!  Toad the Wet Sprocket was getting ready to play their outdoor concert next to the hotel.

Jake and I decided to give roller blading a try but there were way to many people!!  And they didn't work like skis!!!  So Jake kept going after I almost killed a small family and two seniors while roller blading.

What we did was what looked like a giant EPCOT ball (or death star). As it turned out it was laser light show.

Jill and Mom took a walk up the boardwalk and Jill got to try out the obstacles in a fitness course.  She worked the ropes and climbed up.  It was a tiring day but Jake wanted to keep going.  So as Jill and Mom went to bed, I sat on the balcony while Jake took a look around the hotel.  A nice end to a great beach day.
